Guarantee To Catch
Even on the toughest of fishing days, We guarantee you will catch fish. Sometimes fishing can be tough, but those days are few and far between. If for some reason the fish do not cooperate, we will give you a 50% off your next trip. This only happens on our Trophy Trips. Eater Trips are a 100% guarentee catch fish!

Sandbass Trip
Starting at $450
Join us for a sandbass fishing trip and enjoy the thrill of catching these feisty fish. Sandbass are known for their aggressive strikes and acrobatic fights, making for an exciting day on the water. Our
guides will take you to the prime sand bass locations, where you'll have plenty of opportunities to reel in these fun-loving fish.
Combo Trip
Starting at $550
Looking for the ultimate fishing adventure? Our combo trip is perfect for those who want to experience the best of both worlds. Spend a day targeting catfish and sand bass, and get ready to bring home a meat haul. It's ideal for anglers who love variety and want to maximize their fishing experience.
Striper / Hybrid Trip
Starting at $450
Striper and Hybrid trips are usually 4 hours long with no more than 4 people in our boat. These fish are the hardest fighting fish in Lake Tawakoni. Most of these fish caught are over 8 pounds. The limit on these fish on Lake Tawakoni is 5 per person. All Stripers and Hybrids have to be over 18 inches long.

Operating out of Lake Tawakoni, Texas, James has helped set several Youth Records for Blue Catfish, Striper, and Black Crappie—cementing his reputation as one of the area’s most trusted and accomplished fishing guides.
Known for his professionalism, friendly attitude, and competitive spirit, James thrives on building connections with family, friends, and fellow anglers both on and off the water.

Danny Barrick
Hey guys, Danny Barrick here! I’m 36 years old and have had a passion for fishing since I was in a car seat!! I grew up on legendary Lake Fork from the age of 5 and have almost 30 years of experience on both Lake Fork and Lake Tawakoni. While bass fishing has always been my passion, I have prided myself on my ability to shift gears to multiple species at any time! If it swims, it is prey! I became a licensed guide in 2014 predominantly targeting hybrid/striper and crappie, which I have found the most fun to target year round, so I am geared up for both at any given time, on any given trip! I would like to think I’m just a fisherman, but I’m an entertainer as well!! Let’s go have some fun and catch a lake record!

Marcus has been reeling in big catches on Lake Tawakoni since 2021, where he discovered his passion for catfishing and the thrill of the chase. In 2025, he brought that enthusiasm to Whisk’R Fish’N, joining the team with a dedication not just to fishing—but to creating unforgettable experiences for every client. Known for his deep knowledge of the lake and his easygoing, entertaining personality, Marcus turns every trip into more than just a day on the water—it’s a story worth telling.
